Singing high notes is not that difficult. It only takes understanding and practice. Just as you sing low notes, you sing high notes!
SING SOFT
See the voice as a whole, balanced from one register to the other. Don’t give more volume on the high notes just to prove to everyone that you know how to sing. Scientifically, the higher notes will resonate more anyway so no need to overdo it.
THE FOREHEAD
The constant airflow and the projection of the sound up and towards your forehead is the best way to maintain a healthy voice. The higher notes will sound more radiant, vibrant and easy to sing. The sound comes up to your forehead, then out from that same point.
ALTER YOUR VOWELS
When singing high notes, you will alter all the vowels so that they are easier to sing.
First, the jaw is slightly more open on these notes, and the sounds are clearer.
[A], [O], [I], [E], [U], should all sound more radiant and focused behind the soft palate.
FALSETTO
You’re also allowed to sing Falsetto, depending on the songs. But you should still learn how to develop the Head Voice by mixing the head to the chest voice on all registers.
