Last weekend was really fun at the cottage with friends.
It made me realize how “being centered” is essential when singing.
I while ago I released this video:
Being centered means:
- Centered mentally, focused.
- Centered and aligned body.
- Centered voice: focused sound when singing.
How do we sing with a center?
- Do not spread the sound (watch for the forward neck position). The sound goes up towards the head cavities.
- Imagine you are projecting the sound towards your third eye. A helpful exercice is singing on an [u] sound while placing a finger on your forhead (Jaw slightly open, lips rounded, allowing the sound to go up).
- You cannot have a good result without a constant airflow. The air will guide the air/sound up and out to the audience.
- Don’t drive the sound, let it go through on its own!

One last thing to say:
I feel truly blessed to have all these friends around me, and thank you to all my followers for always being there!
