Hello,
I’m John Tracy, I’m based in Montreal and I’m the Voice Guru. Born in a family of musicians, singers and painters, I’ve spent my childhood surrounded by music, sounds and colors. After starting the piano at the age of 6, it was only a matter of time before I started taking singing lessons.
I then went on studying with amazing star-teachers in Europe and in Northern America and now hold 2 professional university degrees in Music, Opera, and Vocal Jazz.
For the longest, I found it quite fun to teach others how to play piano and especially how to perfect their singing abilities. And before I knew it, I was coaching artists, writing music, and hired as an Art Director for several professional venues and bands.
After performing for almost 20 years, my urge to teach and to help other singers reach greatness grew intensely. My objective today, more than ever, is to help singers achieve their full potential when it comes to mastering their singing voices.
Singing is easy once we understand the body and the mind. I see it as any other physical activity where one takes the time to understand and put into practice the knowledge earned.
The voice is not as complex as we think it is. There is only one way to sing and it’s the right way; it just takes time for the body to cooperate. But through practice, everything is possible. Knowing is Mastering.
